Do men really want wives like June Cleaver?

I found an old article on Today.com entitled "Do men really want wives like June Cleaver?" It talks about how divorce rates are so high and how both partners need to contribute equally. I find it easier to live as a June Cleaver want-to-be.

I take care of the home duties and the hubby works. Everything is divided equally. We share the money, have equal stresses, and so on. Of course, one person usually wants a bit control over the relationship. I have no problem letting the hubby pay the bills and controlling the budget. I know, as a Pisces, I would over spend in a heart beat. LOL. His Scorpio personality is great at organizing.

A nice balance is the key to the relationship. Two aggressive people or two passive people aren't going to mesh well. Compromise is needed.
